3 Feng Shui Tips To Support Your Health and Well-Being

Feng Shui is a beautiful practice that can help you get clear about your intentions and welcome them into your life. It's also a wonderful way to bring a sense of peace, comfort, and balance into your space.

In BTB Feng Shui, there are nine zones that we address that correspond to different areas of your life. When these zones are tended to and the energy of each of them elevated, you feel better and have an easier time manifesting your desires.

One of the areas that is important to take care of is the Health and Well-Being zone. This lands right in the center of your home (depending on your floor plan of course). When this area is energized, it helps all the members of your household experience more physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. And that leads to a happier life experience.

How you feel matters a lot; it is the basis of what you attract. Keeping this area clutter-free, uplifted, and making it a peaceful space can help you and your family members feel better more of the time. And that goes a long way in bringing you into alignment with everything else that is important to you.

Here are a few tips on how you can energize the Health and Well-Being area of your home:

A card with a drawing of a person meditating, says Just Breathe. Three crystals and a plant are sitting beside it.

Place an Amethyst crystal in the space.

Amethyst is one of the best crystals to support physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellness. It's also a wonderful choice to bring more peace into your home.

Depending on how big your Health and Well-Being zone is, you may like to place a smaller Amethyst crystal, a larger cluster, or even a geode here.

Whatever size you choose, make sure to cleanse your crystal weekly. Dust it off with a soft cloth and smudge it with sage, sweetgrass, or palo santo to keep it's energy elevated. This will help your crystal to keep doing good work for you and your family.

Bring in some yellow.

Yellow is the main colour of the Health and Well-Being zone. Bringing in some yellow items can lift your spirits and invite more happiness into your home.

You can start small, by adding a piece of beautiful art that has yellow in it, or placing some yellow flowers (silk or fresh is best) in this space. If you feel bold enough, you could even paint a feature wall in a soft yellow tone.

Be creative and let your intuition guide you as to how much (or how little) yellow you prefer. That's one of the fun parts of Feng Shui; you get to decide how to incorporate these energetic enhancements and make them your own.

An altar with a figurine of a person meditating, yellow flowers in a bowl, a sage bundle, incense, a yellow candle, and a small singing bowl. A few crystals sit on the table.

Set up an altar.

Because this zone is also related to spiritual wellness, it can be a lovely idea to set up an altar here. If you have certain spiritual or religious figures that you connect deeply with, place pictures or statues of them in this area. You can also place affirmations, angel cards, angelic art, or inspirational quotes on your altar as well.

If you feel guided, you can burn incense, sweetgrass, palo santo, or sage in this area each morning as a gentle ritual to welcome in a new day. Depending on the size of your space, you could even set up a meditation / prayer area for yourself or your family members.

Your altar can be a wonderful place to remind yourself of your intentions for peace, happiness, and wellness for yourself and your family.

I hope these tips inspire you to incorporate some Feng Shui enhancements in your Health and Well-Being zone. Remember that when you feel better, everything in your life gets better. By making a few gentle shifts in your space, you'll feel more uplifted. And when you feel uplifted, the world will reflect those positive shifts back to you.
