Since we are at the beginning of January, it's time for our first Crystal Of The Month post for 2017!
I've been working with Carnelian for the last little while, and I felt like it would be the perfect gem to use for January's Crystal Of The Month.
Carnelian is such a special crystal. It's beautiful red - orange hues are just mesmerizing. It reminds me of the deep colours of a sunset. For many people, carnelian is a stimulating stone, spurring them into inspired action. For me personally, Carnelian is soothing, soft and comforting. It is the quintessential sacral chakra crystal, and reminds me of how much power there is in surrendering and going with the flow. I often feel like I'm basking in a sea of support when I work with Carnelian. It's the reason why I always use it in my crystal layouts with my lovely Reiki clients! I love Carnelian for it's ability to lend courage and confidence to those who work with it. It supports the reproductive system and is wonderful for women who are looking to support their fertility, or mamas who are moving through the journey of pregnancy. Carnelian is amazing for new beginnings and for allowing abundance into one's life as well!
